State Police from the Indiana barracks is investigating another string of thefts, this one in one area of White Township last Saturday morning.
Police say that between 4:00 and 5:00 AM, several victims reported thefts from motor vehicles or attempted thefts from motor vehicles that happened in the Brookwood estates section of the township. At least four victims who live on Ben Avon Street, Morningside Drive and Valley Road each reported items stolen ranging from a check book, a wallet, credit cards and a dashboard-mounted camera.
Police urge people to keep their valuables out of sight and to lock their cars, homes and any outbuildings as well. Troopers are currently examining surveillance video to get some more information. They urge anyone that has information on the thefts to call them at 724-357-1960.
