On Saturday Blairsville defeated United, 10-3, in Heritage Conference softball.
Brin Gardner was 3 for 4 against the Lions with a home run and five RBI. Tori Foust was 2 for 4 with a home run and four RBI, Madison Stutzman was 3 for 4 on the evening.
Hannah Foust pitched the complete game for Blairsville, earning the victory.
Blairsville and United are both still in contention to play in the Heritage Conference softball championship game against Marion Center on Wednesday (7 p.m.) at Northern Cambria.
