While gas supplies are running low in the south due to the shutdown earlier this week of the Colonial Pipeline, gas stations in our area may not see any widespread closures due to lack of supply.
Reports say that gas stations in the south have had long lines as people waited for gasoline after the pipeline was shut down due to a ransomware attack. Lynda Lambert of Triple A East Central said she’s not sure but the impact of the shutdown may not be as prevalent up north as it is in the south.
Lambert added that gas prices would fluctuate as well because of the shortages.
