In his final update video of the spring semester, IUP President Michael Driscoll thanked the IUP community for staying strong over the past year.
Driscoll opened the video, titled “We Made It”, by thanking the students and staff at IUP for their hard work over the school year, while also reminding the IUP community of graduation commencement ceremonies which will be held this weekend.
Driscoll also previewed the agenda of tonight’s Council of Trustees meeting, where the majority of items listed will be naming resolutions, including renaming the Humanities and Social Sciences Hall in honor of former IUP faculty member, Jane Leonard.
Driscoll also said that three IUP sports teams will be recognized for their efforts this year – including Men’s Golf, Women’s Tennis and Swimming – along with individuals for their leadership skills.
Tonight’s meeting begins at 4:30 p.m., and Your Hometown Radio Stations will provide full coverage online and in tomorrow morning’s newscasts.
