There is a busy schedule today in the Indiana County courts, and one of the cases on the docket involves a Philadelphia man who is charged in the armed robbery of couple at their home in White Township and of a shooting in Indiana Borough.
21-year-old Thomas Edward Lindsey allegedly fired three shots at a man with whom he’d argued earlier on June 23rd of last year, on Third Street in Indiana. The next day, he and two other men allegedly robbed a couple at gunpoint at their home along Center Street in White Township.
Lindsay is scheduled for Plea Court before Judge Michael Clark this morning. He is charged with nineteen criminal offenses in the shooting, including two charges of attempted homicide; four each for aggravated assault, conspiracy to the same offense, and recklessly endangering; three for discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure; and one for carrying a firearm without a license. For the robbery, he is charged with two counts each of robbery and terroristic threats; theft; receiving stolen property; conspiracy to robbery; and recklessly endangering.
The other two suspects in the armed robbery, Spencer Hayes and Frank Williams IV, are also from Philadelphia. They are both awaiting sentencing later this month.
