In its latest rankings, Maxpreps has ranked the Marion Center Stingers softball team 50th out of 414 schools in the state.
The Stingers are undefeated this season with a 10-0 overall record and an 8-0 record in the Heritage Conference. Marion Center is the only area softball team to crack either the Top 50 or the Top 100.
Among other area teams, Indiana comes ranked 116th in the state; Blairsville is ranked at No. 178; and Northern Cambria ranks at No. 234.
