Both 20-year-old Treazure Lumair Toney of Pittsburgh and 23-year-old Izaih Lamont Toney of Johnstown were charged in connection with a traffic stop and foot pursuit on September 5th of last year along Route 56 at Route 711 in Armagh Borough. The vehicle ran a stop sign at the intersection and when police approached the vehicle, they smelled raw marijuana coming from the vehicle.
After troopers spoke with the driver, an unidentified 26-year-old Johnstown woman, police identified four passengers in the vehicle, including both Treazure and Izaih Toney. After they were instructed to get out of the vehicle, Treazure threw a cup of an unknown liquid into the face of the investigating trooper and fled on foot. After a half-mile chase, he was eventually caught. During the chase, Izaih hid two handguns in the nearby weeds. He was arrested and found to be in possession of 21 baggies of suspected crack cocaine, a baggie containing eight rocks of crack cocaine and a baggie of marijuana.
Treazure is charged with resisting arrest, simple assault, harassment disorderly conduct and aggravated assault, while Izaih is charged with possession of a controlled substance and of marijuana, along with possession with intent to deliver and carrying a firearm without a license.
