The statewide cost for a standard gallon of gas has increased once again.
Triple-A reports that the average cost of gas across Pennsylvania rose to $3.01, a one-cent increase since last week’s average which was around $3.00 per gallon. Gas prices at this time last month were $2.97, and prices last year across the state were as low as $2.04 per gallon. This was due to the low demand caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Armstrong County has the lowest average in the region with $3.00 per gallon.
