INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police have charged two people with drug-related offenses after a traffic stop on April 18. Reports say shortly after 12:20 a.m., police conducted a traffic stop along the 200-block of Philadelphia St., and it was discovered that 48-year-old Christopher Yoder of Penn Run and 24-year-old Kasey Roy of Indiana were found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia.
Yoder was taken into police custody after troopers found that he was driving without a license after his was suspended due to a prior DUI-related offense. He was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a license.
Roy was not taken into custody, but she was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a prohibited weapon.

Indiana Borough Police also report that one woman was charged following an incident on April 4. Reports say that 20-year-old Maria Galeno-Rodriguez of Indiana was arrested after police responded to a noise complaint along the 200-block of North 8th St.
Police say Rodriguez was the resident of the home that was the source of the noise and following an investigation, she was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.
Charges have been filed through District Judge Guy Haberl’s office.
