The Indiana County Center for Economic Operations announced an opportunity that will allow local entrepreneurs to compete for cash prizes while expanding their network and sharing their business concepts.
Ben Franklin’s TechCelerator at Indiana is hosting a series of weekly virtual business startup “boot camps” that are geared towards providing a framework for young developers in determining whether it is the right time to start a tech-related business. There’s a chance to win $10,000 during the Final’s event on August 18, in which participants will pitch ideas to a panel of independent judges.
In addition, there will be a “People’s Choice Award” where the winner, who will be chosen by a virtual audience, will receive $1,000.
Sessions run every Tuesday from 2 to 5 p.m. beginning on June 8 and they will run until August 17. Space is limited and a link to apply can be found here.
