With the NCAA offseason underway, the Pitt men’s basketball team will welcome a new face to the team.
Daniel Oladapo, a 6’7″ forward from the Oakland Golden Grizzlies in the Horizon League, announced in a tweet on Monday that he is moving from Oakland, California, to the Oakland Zoo next year. Last season, Oladapo averaged 12.9 points per game along with 8.8 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 30 games played. He also averaged 1.1 steals per game.
Oladapo wrote in his tweet that he never thought he would make it this far being a Bladensburg, Maryland native, and he expressed gratitude towards head coach Jeff Capel and the entire PITT staff.
