The Steelers continued adding to their roster on Monday as they signed 25-year-old defensive end Abdullah Anderson. Anderson went undrafted in 2018 but landed with the Chicago Bears as an addition to their practice squad.
According to Steelers.com, Anderson was moved to the Bears’ active roster in 2019, where he played in six games and recorded one sack. Anderson spent the 2020 season on the practice squad for the Minnesota Vikings and was activated for one game.
Anderson won the 2017 Patriot League Defensive Player of the Year at Bucknell, along with being named the Brooks-Irvine Memorial Football Club FCS Player of the Year.
