INDIANA BOROUGH POLICE
Indiana Borough Police are investigating a pair of thefts from vehicles that happened on Friday.
Police say that three men wearing light-colored hoodies, backpacks and face masks were seen breaking a window of a vehicle parked in the 1500 block of Water Street and stealing a purse around 2:21 Friday morning. The men then went southbound towards Philadelphia Street.
The second incident happened between 12:01 AM and 3:30 PM on Friday, when someone stole a wallet from inside a parked and unlocked vehicle in the 1400 block of Gompers Avenue.
It’s not known at this time if the thefts are connected. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 727-349-2121.

State police have not released any names in connection with a crash on Friday near the White Township Walmart. Troopers say that a Chrysler Sebring was stopped at a stop sign in the Walmart parking lot facing Plaza Roadway, while a Honda Civic was going east in the right hand lane. According to the report, the driver of the Sebring failed to yield the right of way and pulled out in front of the Civic, causing the crash. Both vehicles were damaged and the two vehicles drove about a quarter-mile to Anderson Road.
