BRUSH FIRE REPORTED NEAR ARIN INTERMEDIATE UNIT BUILDING

Multiple fire departments were called out less than an hour ago for a brush fire in Armstrong Township.

Members of Indiana Fire Association Company Two were dispatched initially to the brush fire at 378 Lions Health Camp Road near the ARIN intermediate unit building at 11:04 this morning. Creekside, Elderton, Aultman and Homer City fire departments were called in for tanker and brush truck assists about 15 minutes later. Brush Valley was called in to stand by for Homer City later on.

Reports said that the fire was over an acre in size and was growing, but firefighters now have the fire under control. Crews are still on the scene at this time.
