Today is Good Friday, a day recognized by the Christian faith as the day Jesus was crucified and died, leading to his resurrection on Easter Sunday.
While things have been abnormal during the Coronavirus pandemic, Father Willie Lechnar of the Holy Family Parish in Seward said that they have been active during the triduum, the three days that lead up to Easter.
Father Lechnar continues to urge people to keep the faith as we continue through the pandemic, and he hopes that things will be for the better next year.
Father Lechnar added that if families are not able to get out for Easter Mass on Sunday, they can take part in a pre-recorded Easter mass that will be released just after midnight Sunday morning on the website, www.HolyFamilySeward.org
