The Steelers ended the month of March by adding two players to their roster.
The team announced that linebacker Jarvis Miller and wide receiver Matthew Sexton were signed on Wednesday, adding more depth to those positions. Both players went undrafted in 2020, but finished their college careers on a high note.
Miller started 11 of 12 games played at UMass in 2019 where he finished fourth on the team in tackles with 60. In addition, he played at Penn State from 2016-18 where he racked up 23 tackles, one sack and one fumble recovery. Miller fills one gap at linebacker after losing players like Bud Dupree and Vince Williams to free agency.
Sexton played in 43 games while at Eastern Michigan, tallying 100 receptions for 1,135 yards and nine touchdowns. He also contributed on special teams by tallying 26 career tackles and returning one of two career punt returns for a touchdown back in 2019.
The signings come just a day after the team added Kallen Ballage (RB) and Rashad Coward (OL).
