Three people charged with a fight in Washington Township back in 2019 are due for a preliminary hearing today.
Charges were filed against 59-year-old Rickey Wensel of Creekside, 48-year-old William Erb of Kittanning and 39-year-old Joshua Cravenor for the fight that happened on October 17th at a home on Dutch Run Road in Creekside. Police said during the fight, Wensel had punched Erb and tackled him, with Erb landing against a small garden tractor in a garage. Wensel was then hit by Cravenor multiple times with a set of channel locks, causing multiple cuts.
During the investigation, police found a small amount of marijuana in Erb’s possession.
Wensel faces charges of simple assault and harassment, Cravenor is charged with aggravated and simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment, and Erb was charged with possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Their hearing is set for 11:15 this morning in front of Judge Christopher Welch.
