After giving up three earned runs in his last outing, Mitch Keller rebounded by pitching three scoreless frames in the Pirates 2-1 win over Baltimore on Sunday.
Keller tallied two strikeouts while only allowing one hit on the day, however he surrendered four walks in the process. Relief pitcher Michael Feliz and Sam Howard combined for four strikeouts over two innings, while Nick Mears collected the save after tossing a perfect inning in the ninth.
Offensively, Adam Frazier raised his spring average to .533 after going 2-for-4 with an RBI, while O’Neil Cruz went 1-for-2 with a walk.
The Pirates are now 13-13-1 and they will finish their spring schedule with two matchups against the Minnesota Twins. Miguel Yajure and J.T Brubaker are scheduled to start both games.
