After agreeing to sign with the Jacksonville Jaguars during the free agent signing period, defensive tackle Tyson Alualu is re-signing with the Steelers after experiencing a “change of heart” according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The deal was announced shortly after 7 p.m. on Saturday, and Pelissero says Alualu returns to Pittsburgh on a two-year deal.
Multiple players were ecstatic about the move, including Joe Haden who took to Twitter saying “Just talked to [Alualu]. He’s back!” Alualu recorded 39 tackles and 4 forced fumbles in 2020.
