Another day, another Pitt Panther leaves the basketball program.
Sophomore forward Abdoul Karim Coulibaly has entered the NCAA transfer portal. He started 20 of 22 games this past season, averaging 5.2 points and 3.9 rebounds per game.
Coach Jeff Capel has plenty of scholarships to hand out. Only eight scholarship players are still with the team and one of them, Justin Champagnie, is testing his NBA draft prospects, while another, center John Hugley, was suspended after seven games. His status is uncertain.
