Indiana County’s Court of Common Pleas will hold several plea court hearings today, including one for an Indiana woman charged in connection with a kidnapping incident in September of 2019.
31-year-old Amber Marie Lynn is charged with multiple conspiracy crimes, including robbery with the threat of serious immediate injury, kidnapping for ransom, kidnap to inflict injury or terrorize, unlawful restraint, theft, false imprisonment and reckless endangerment in connection with an incident on September 9th. She, along with 26-year-old Marquice Mann, are accused of kidnapping a woman, identified only as Erika, on September 3rd between 3-6 PM. The victim claimed she was held against her will over a debt she owed Mann.
Mann pleaded guilty on April 20th of 2020 and was ordered to serve four to eight years in prison for a charge of kidnapping to inflict injury or terror, and one year of probation for false imprisonment.
