After going a year with virtual meetings online, the White Township Supervisors Wednesday night approved opening their meetings up to a limited audience.
Township Manager Milt Lady said that Governor Wolf’s recent easing on gathering size restrictions was the impetus behind the change in policy, but they will still follow social distancing mandates.
The new meeting policy will go into effect for their next meeting, which is April 14th at 1:00 PM.
In other business, the township supervisors approved sending a letter of support of the American Legion of Clymer to dedicate the bridge that carries Route 119 North over Route 286 to Vietnam veteran Timothy Rice, who passed away last year. The township could not approve the dedication outright as the roads involved are state roads and would need the approval of PennDOT.
