PennDOT is getting ready to resume a culvert replacement project on Route 422 in Armstrong Township.
The project will re-start next Monday, March 29th as crews continue to remove two small bridges. One bridge will be replaced with a dual cell box culvert, and the other will be replaced with a concrete pipe. While a temporary road will be in place, that road does have a restriction of 11 feet for over-sized loads. Most of the work will be completed by the end of this summer, but the project will be finished by May of next year.
The construction zone for the project extends on Route 422 from the Trim Tree Road intersection to the Lyons Health Camp intersection. PennDOT urges motorists to slow down in the work zones, and to be alert for changing conditions.
