Kaitlyn Beers earned PSAC Athlete of the Week honors after playing a major role in the Crimson Hawks’ series win over Mercyhurst this past weekend.
Beers posted a .600 batting after going 9-15 at the plate, with five of those hits going for extra bases. She tallied a home run and four doubles and collected seven RBIs and seven runs scored in the series,and she also scored the winning run in the series finale on Sunday.
In the PSAC, Beers ranks second in home runs (4) and third in hits (19), RBIs (15) and total bases (39).
