State police say a search detail proved to be successful as they found a man that went missing earlier today.
Troopers were called out at 5:11 this morning to a suspicious, unattended vehicle parked at a home along the 2000 block of Yellow Creek Road in Cherryhill Township. The homeowner contacted police after finding the vehicle with the keys still in it and seeing someone walking away from the vehicle. Police say that an initial search turned up negative, but they did discover that the missing person was an 88-year-old Penn Run man. Troopers requested assistance from the Cherryhill Township Fire Department to assist in the search.
At 6:38 AM, a trooper found the man on the ground behind a nearby home on Yellow Creek Road, suffering from possible hypothermia. Troopers were able to render aid to the man, who was then covered with blankets and a hat. Citizens Ambulance took him to be treated and a family member was notified.
Police do not suspect any foul play connected with the incident.
