A water line extension project in Center Township is causing some road closures starting today.
Center Township Supervisors Chairman Dave Smyers announced during their meeting last week that there would be a water line extension project in the Neal Road area that could cause road closures. Those closures started this morning for Neal Road from 2nd street in Graceton to Cherry Run Road.
Local traffic and emergency vehicles would be allowed on that road only during the closure, which is expected to continue for the next few weeks. Work will only take place during the daylight hours and the road will reopen during the evening.
All officials were notified prior to Monday’s meeting of the road closure.
