Thursday evening, the United Way of Indiana County unveiled how much it raised for the 2020 annual campaign, and its efforts surpassed its goal of $555,555.
In a year hampered by the Covid-19 pandemic, the United Way raised $690,306, which will go to support the United Way’s member organizations. Campaign co-chair Christina Struzzi said she was grateful for the support of the community.

Many events had to change as restrictions came up due to Covid-19. Co-chair Kris Levan said that just about every event had to be adapted, but it benefited them in the end.
During the closing ceremonies, Struzzi and Levan announced that Amanda Augustine and Annie Rizzo, both with the Indiana Regional Medical Center, were named as the campaign co-chairs for the 2021 campaign.
