Representatives from the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency and the Departments of Health and Education announced further details on how the Johnson and Johnson Covid-19 Vaccine will be distributed to teachers, school workers and child care providers
The vaccine will be distributed to teachers in public and private schools across the state. Acting Secretary of Health Alison Beam talked about who will receive top priority for the one-shot vaccine.
Vaccine clinics will be set up in each of the Intermediate Units in the district, and the vaccines will be distributed by PA National Guard members and AMI Expeditionary at the sites. PEMA Director Randy Padfield talked about what people would see at these clinics.
These clinics will not be open to the public. Those who meet the criteria and have made appointments will be allowed to receive the vaccine at these clinics. Clinics are set to get underway between March 10th and 13th.
