State House Republicans are launching an investigation into whether Wolf Administration policies led to coronavirus-related deaths at nursing homes.
House Majority Leader Kerry Benninghoff says the House Government Oversight Committee will conduct the investigation. Benninghoff says the Wolf Administration has not been transparent about an order requiring nursing homes to take back residents who had been hospitalized for coronavirus. But during a budget hearing last week Acting Health Secretary Alison Beam said that order came from her department in consultation with the federal government.
