Quick work by firefighters saved a mobile home last night in East Mahoning Township.
Marion Center, Plumville, and Clymer firefighters were dispatched along with the Rapid Intervention Team just after 8 PM to Riddle Road, where they found a stove fire had extended to an interior wall. The Marion Center reports that the homeowner and fire crews were able to contain the fire to the kitchen area, the home was ventilated, and the residents were able to stay in it last night.
Damage was listed as minor.
