The state Department of Health continues to track COVID-19 cases, deaths and vaccinations.
More than 3,300 new cases of COVID-19 in Pennsylvania bring the statewide total since the start of the pandemic to more than 926,000. Sixty nine new coronavirus-related deaths in PA put that statewide number at 23,937. In excess of 1.5 million state residents having received their first dose of coronavirus vaccine and nearly 650,000 people their second dose.
In Indiana County, 5,060 cases of Covid-19 have been reported, including 22 new cases reported yesterday. The death toll for Indiana County is now at 158. As far as vaccinations go, 13,182 vaccinations have been distributed. A total of 9,567 people have received at least their first shot of Covid-19 vaccine, while 4,245 people have received both doses of vaccine.
