Homer-Center senior Ben Schmidt was among the players named to Pennsylvania Scholastic Football Coaches Association West roster for the PSFCA East-West All Star game.
Schmidt made the roster as a punter-defensive back and was one of 36 players named to the team, which will take on the East team on Sunday, May 30 at Central Dauphin School District’s Landis Field in Lower Paxton Township, Dauphin County. There will be two All-Star games played that day, one for small schools (1-3A) at noon and one for large schools (4-6A) at 5 p.m. and, and Schmidt will play in the first game. This year marks the first that there will be two games.
