The Indiana Area and Marion Center school boards will meet tonight and both of them will be considering the ARIN Intermediate budget.
At Indiana Area, the district’s share of the $3.4 million ARIN budget is $159.051.
The board will also consider a motion to approve an agreement with the Indiana Regional Medical Center and Indiana Healthcare Properties for a payment in lieu of taxes. The board will also set compensation amounts for tax collectors for the next four years.
Other Indiana Area agenda items are funding of close to $27,000 for improvements to the sound system and for live streaming equipment at the Junior High auditorium, and several personnel items.
At Marion Center, the district’s share of the ARIN budget is $47,259.
Personnel items include a list of nine volunteer coaches for baseball and softball.
There will also be consideration of a number of district policies related to discrimination, sick leave and sudden cardiac arrest, and sexual assault and harassment; and the board will discuss a resolution regarding charter school reform.
