State police in Indiana seek the public’s help in identifying the person responsible in an act of theft late Wednesday evening.
Reports say that at approximately 10:13 p.m., a white Ford truck identified as either an F-350 or F-450 model entered the parking lot of McAdoo Motosports in Armstrong Township. The driver parked the truck and canvassed a black carry-on trailer, then proceeded to retrieve what police say was a hammer and pry bar. The driver then smash the lock off the trailer and police add that the suspect backed his truck up to the trailer, connected it and drove off with it.
The trailer, valued at approximately $1,000, had a PA registration of XMB-0010 and belonged to a 67-year-old man from Ringgold, who stored the trailer in the lot.
The suspect is said to have worn a t-shirt with suspected thermal attire underneath and a coal miners-style cap, and anyone with information is asked to contact PSP-Troop A in Indiana at 724-357-1960.
