Tomorrow is the first day of another Covid-19 pop-up testing site in Indiana County.
The testing site will once again be in the area of the former Bon Ton parking lot at the mall in White Township, and is open to the public. This time, instead of the drive-through setup that was put in place where people were in tents outside, people will drive up to the Bon Ton entrance. People are to remain in their vehicles for the testing.
This is the second time that the county has hosted a pop-up testing site, according to County Emergency Management Director Tom Stutzman, who said that the last time a pop-up clinic was held, which was in October, they did not get the response they were hoping for.
This pop up testing clinic will run Saturday to Wednesday from 9 AM to 6 PM each day at the former Bon Ton at the Indiana Mall. The tests are free, but people are encouraged to bring a form of ID and if they have one, an insurance card. Tests will be done on a first-come first-served basis.
