State police are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect in a trailer theft on Wednesday.
Troopers say that either an F-350 or F-450 extended cab dually pickup truck was seen on security cameras at McAdoo Motorsports on Route 422 in Armstrong Township at 10:13 PM. The driver got out and examined a six-and-a-half foot by 10 foot Carry-On trailer parked in the lot. The suspect returned to the pickup truck and retrieved what is believed to be a hammer and pry bar and used the tools to break the lock on the trailer. The suspect then drove the truck in, hitched the trailer to the truck and drove off. The trailer was valued at $1000.

Police say the suspect is a white man, and was wearing a T-Shirt with a thermal shirt underneath it and a coal-miner’s style cap.
