On Tuesday night, the White Township Planning Commission approved a final site plan for a new fast food restaurant to go on the property of the current Long John Silver’s/A&W restaurant.
The supervisors approved the plan submitted by G141 Architecture for a 2200 square foot property at 1745 Oakland Avenue, and convert the property into a Popeye’s Chicken franchise. Robert Grimaldi of G141 Architecture said that they are ready to raze the building, but only if needed.
The approval was conditional on improvements to the stormwater plan. Construction is expected to start in early-to-mid spring.
The Commission also approved two final minor subdivisions. One for Charles Crossland on Route 110 and one for Bradly Schry on Route 286 West.
