A preliminary hearing is set for today for a Graceton man charged with assault and related crimes after an incident on January 23rd.
The hearing will be for 47-year-old Larry Dunlap, who was charged with aggravated assault-attempts to cause bodily injury with a deadly weapon, simple assault, possession of an instrument of crime and summary harassment for the incident.
Dunlap allegedly got into an argument with a woman over methamphetamine, and the argument later turned physical. The woman had to be flown to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center after the incident.
Dunlap’s hearing is set for 11:00 this morning. Since the incident, he has been in Indiana County Jail as he failed to post $50,000 bail.
