Former Steelers guard Alan Faneca and for team scout Bill Nunn were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame yesterday.
Others selected to the Hall included quarterback Peyton Manning, cornerback Charles Woodson, and wide receiver Calvin Johnson, who were all chosen in their first year of eligibility; safety John Lynch; former Raiders coach Tom Flores; and wide receiver Drew Pearson (senior category).
Steelers’ linebacker TJ Watt finished second to LA Rams defensive end and former Pitt star Aaron Donald for NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
