Multiple fire crews were called out for a reported barn fire in Center Township on Sunday.
Indiana County 911 reported that Homer City, Coral-Graceton, Aultman, and Indiana Fire departments along with Citizens Ambulance and the Hazmat Team were dispatched to 62 Fabin Road at 1:38 in the afternoon on Sunday. Saltsburg, Coal Run-McIntyre, Iselin-West Lebanon, Blairsville and Tunnelton Fire Departments were called in a few minutes later to provide tanker assist. Fire was showing from the barn when crews got there.
Fire crews on scene said it was a small explosion in a welding unit and damage was minimal.
