As the winter storm continues through the area, expect some more snow and possibly some slick travel conditions today.
The National Weather Service has a winter weather advisory in effect until 6:00 tomorrow morning for Western Pennsylvania and the northern panhandle of West Virginia. Accuweather predicts another one to three inches of snow in Indiana County, with more snow predicted in the ridges.
PennDOT is saying that icy road conditions could make things difficult. It advises that unless you absolutely have to, stay off the roads. This will allow plow crews to plow the roads and put salt down more efficiently. PennDOT also says drivers can check with 511 PA for the latest road conditions. That can be done by a call on the phone to 511, logging on to 511pa.com or using the 511 PA app before you go.
