Pitt lost its third straight game in embarrassing fashion, getting crushed by 6-9 Notre Dame, 85-58, on their own floor.
Coach Jeff Capel called the loss, “really, really deplorable.”
Justin Champagnie was the only Panthers player in double figures, scoring 19 points and pulling down 11 rebounds, but Capel said “everyone on our team was bad” for Pitt.
The Panthers next three opponents, Virginia Tech, Florida State, and Louisville, are all ranked in the Top 25.
