The Pittsburgh Penguins continue their road trip tonight with the start of a two-game set at Madison Square Garden against the New York Rangers. The Pens have nine straight points against the Rangers with six wins and three overtime losses that gave them a point in the standings, and in the last 15 games, the Pens are 10-2-3 against the Rangers. But the road hasn’t been kind to the Penguins, as they are 0-3-1.
While Evgeni Malkin has been in a slump as of late, Malkin will move up a rank on the Pens all-time list. Malkin will appear in his 916th career NHL game, which moves him past Mario Lemieux on the all-time games played list to second place. First place is Sidney Crosby.
