For the second time in three nights, the Pittsburgh Penguins bowed to the Boston Bruins, losing this time, 4-1, on Thursday night.
Patrice Bergeron scored two goals for the Bruins, as the Penguins fell to 4-3-1. Anders Bjork’s pass deflected off a defender’s rear end and Sean Kuraly’s leg to break a second-period tie.
Cody Ceci scored the Penguins’ only goal in the first period. The Penguins made just 17 shots on goal and nine attempted shots. Boston goalie Jaroslav Halak had to make only 14 saves.
The Penguins lost to the Bruins, 4-3, in overtime on Tuesday night.
