State police arrested two people after an altercation last Wednesday in Pine Township. Police say that they were called out 170 Country Meadows Lane for a reported domestic dispute. The two people involved in the incident were a 52-year-old woman from Strongstown and her 21-year-old daughter, with the elder woman claiming the daughter engaged in the fight. The daughter was taken to Indiana County Jail to await arraignment on charges of simple assault and harassment while harassment charges have been filed through District Judge Cristopher Welch’s office against the elder woman for harassment.
State Police are investigating a theft at the White Township Walmart that happened Saturday afternoon. Troopers say that an 18-year-old Philadelphia woman is charged with retail theft after she took a blanket, gloves, hat and paint from the Walmart on Oakland Avenue in an incident at 2:40 PM on January 23rd.
