The Pitt Panthers fell to Wake Forest, 76-75, yesterday when Xavier Johnson’s 15-foot last-second jumper missed.
The Panthers had been up by double digits in the second half, but could not overcome the hot three-point shooting of Ismael Massoud, who hit 8 of 10 three-pointers and scored 31 points.
Justin Champagnie scored 17 to lead Pitt.
