Two people were taken to IRMC for treatment of possible injuries after a crash on Route 119 near Homer City Friday night.
Indiana County 911 reported that Homer City and Black Lick fire departments, Citizens ambulance and State Police were dispatched at 5:10 PM to Route 119 south near the Lucerne Road intersection for the two-vehicle crash. Homer City Fire Chief Terry Gardner said that one of the vehicles involved was going the wrong way on 119.
A man and a woman were taken to IRMC for treatment. Fire officials believe that wet road conditions were a factor in the crash.
State police have not issued a report on the crash.
