State police say a 17-year-old Clymer boy escaped injury Thursday night when he swerved unsuccessfully to avoid hitting a fox on the road, then lost control of his car and struck an embankment in Cherryhill Township. The accident happened at 11:17 PM along Route 553 near Laurel Run Road. The car sustained disabling damage.
State police have not yet filed a report on an accident last night on Route 422 in Pine Township. No one was reported to have been injured in the crash at around 7:40 PM.
Police are investigating the theft of fourteen gallons of gasoline from a vehicle in Center Township. It happened along Turn Around Road at about 1 AM. The victim is an 88-year-old Homer City man.
A 42-year-old Clymer man was cited for harassment (physical contact) Thursday morning at a location along Route 553 in Cherryhill Township. Police were dispatched to a reported domestic disturbance involving the man and a 43-year-old Penn Run woman.
State police were also dispatched last Monday morning for a criminal mischief incident along College Lodge Road in White Township. Someone had spray painted the concrete pad on the victim’s back porch.
