State police are asking the public to identify a thief with an appetite that stole food from an Indiana grocery store last month.
Police say on December 19th, an unknown suspect went into the Indiana Giant Eagle at 4:50 PM. The man took a container of sushi from the sushi counter and ate the food without purchasing it. He left the empty container in an aisle and left the store. Police valued the sushi at $5.99.
Giant Eagle provided state police with surveillance video of the suspect, who is a white male with sleeve-style tattoos on his left arm and other tattoos on his right arm. He was seen wearing a cutoff green t-shirt, a black knit hat, light blue jeans and dark blue sneakers. He was also wearing a disposable face mask at the time.
