REA Energy has announced that because of possible misplacement of the mail by the U.S. Postal Service, some cooperative members have not received their bill for the month of December.
REA said in a news release that this affects those whose billing cycles fall between the 14th and 24th of the month. The bills were mailed out on December 9th, but at some point, were lost or misplaced. It was also announced that members with billing cycles between the 2nd and 12th of the month will experience a delay in receiving their bills due to the holidays. Those bills were mailed on Monday, December 28th.
REA Energy is offering their members the option to pay their bill online at www.REAenergy.com, or call the office at 1-800-211-5667 between 7 AM and 3:30 PM. There will be no penalties assessed for late payments as the penalties were suspended due to the Coronavirus crisis.
